LEESBURG, Va. – Sleek European engineering meets North American window design with ÄSPEKT, the commercial casement from REHAU. The ÄSPEKT commercial casement design is engineered to provide key benefits to any commercial project, including:
- Better Performance + Design Freedom: Up to 35% less energy without limiting project design*
- Easier + Faster Installation: Up to 55% less time for installation*
- Worry-Free Longevity: Up to 10 times less leakage potential*
- Increased Comfort: 100% increased comfort due to better noise insulation, air tightness, energy savings and longevity*
The system’s ability to accommodate direct-set glazing and to allow for multi-lite configurations within one continuous frame are features that are highly sought after in the commercial market. The properties of the REHAU proprietary uPVC formulation combined with a sophisticated multi-chambered design, elevated by a proprietary, highly engineered triple-seal technology are a few of the elements that enable ÄSPEKT to outperform alternative window systems.
“We designed ÄSPEKT to address the concerns of all commercial building stakeholders – architects, general contractors and project managers,” said Grohschaedl, VP Window Solutions REHAU Americas. “From superior energy performance to installation simplicity to reduced leakage potential and ultimate resident comfort, ÄSPEKT is designed to improve the commercial window experience.”
The system’s ability to accommodate direct-set glazing and to allow for multi-lite configurations within one continuous frame are highly sought-after features in the commercial market. REHAU’s proprietary uPVC formulation, integral water management and sophisticated triple-seal technology are a few of the elements that enable ÄSPEKT to outperform alternative window systems. With a 3 1/2 in (89 mm) frame depth and 1 3/8 in (35 mm) glazing capability, the system achieves U-values down to 0.17, STC ratings up to 40 and structural NAFS ratings up to CW-PG70.
With this design, REHAU expands its commercial product portfolio, which also includes a European tilt-turn window design, to increase the company’s foothold in this market segment.
