Lema presents August, the table designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, inspired by the "complex simplicity" of trestle tables. These tables, originally solid work tools from around the mid-20th century, have over time found their place as design pieces in homes. The tabletop, available in various sizes and a variety of materials including marble and wood, has an apparent lightness thanks to the thin top. The support trestles, connected by a tensioner in bronze patinated finish and the slightly curved wooden crossbar, reflect the aesthetics that have inspired the table. The legs, featuring an elliptical shape, are available with either a glossy or matte lacquered finish, which combined with the different tops, further expand the potential for compositional customisation: all glossy, all matte, or a mix of the two, giving rise to unique and personal visual combinations that modify the product's appeal and adapt it to various spaces and uses. August represents a contemporary reinterpretation both aesthetically and materially, where the solidity of the table is sublimated by an apparent lightness.
