Thermal insulation and reduced heating costs Effective thermal insulation lowers heating costs during the winter and functions as heat protection in the summer. FINSTRAL windows feature special thermal insulation glazing and high frame insulation values. Our basic configuration is provided with a thermal insulation glass of Ug 1.1 W/m²K.
For an effective protection against sunlight and heat
Applying special sunlight protection glazing serves as an effective shield against heat as well as sunlight. This glass filters and reflects any excess of sunlight or external heat. For individual regulation of light and energy incidence we recommend installing a composite window with integrated sunlight protection blinds.
Excellent acoustic insulation
FINSTRAL windows and doors excel in high tightness. Even our standard models offer an effective acoustic insulation of 34 dB. The use of special glazing and triple sealing systems allows an exceptionally high insulation performance of up to 46 dB.
Sealed against wind and driving rain
The technical features and manufacturing processes of our windows are designed to meet the highest demands, including resilience against extreme weather conditions. The central seal system guarantees the best results in terms of air-tightness (best class 4 according to DIN EN 12207) as well as high resistance against driving rain (best class 9A according to DIN EN 12208).
Protection and security
Our windows, even the basic models, comprise 2-point security fittings and massive locking parts. Fittings are screwed safely into the steel profiles, to prevent casements from being levered out. Optionally, windows may be enhanced to Resistance Class RC 2, thus providing even higher protection against uninvited guests.
