Climablock is an innovative construction system to build walls in reinforced concrete capable to integrate in only one solution the mechanical resistance capability of the concrete with the thermal isolation capability of expanded polystyrene. The system bases on an ICF form, the Climablock elements, which mutually and quickly connected to each other, form a structure fit to receive the poured concrete and, once set, guarantee a high energetic isolation. The element Climablock is a formwork made by two panels in expanded polystyrene (EPS) faced one towards the other and connected by webs in order to create a hollow space (an empty space between the surfaces). The webs in polypropylene (PP) are projected and tested in order to resist the pouring of concrete and are positioned at a steady interval to avoid the excessive compression and deformation of the polystyrene panels. The webs have proper space in order to position the horizontal reinforcement on which connect the vertical reinforcement as requested by the structural project of the building. The top of the panels present some teeth (grooves) to make easy and help the joints between the panels: these particular joints protects from the possible flow through the panels of the cement during the pouring. This way a light element is obtained, easy to move and to position in the construction site.

All the elements are made of our high performance material TWINPOR and are available in different sizes:

40cm high - 120 cm long Internal thickness: 6,4 External thickness: 6,4 - 9,4 - 12,4 - 18,4

PLUS: - high insulating material - included internal structure for drywall - mechanical coupling between pannels (no labour errors) - Super quick installation - Curved and angular elements
