Saint-Gobain COOL-LITE® XTREME is a range of high-performance triple-silver solar-control coated glass designed for use in insulating glazing units. The glass combines high levels of daylight transmission with low solar heat gain, helping to limit overheating while maintaining transparency and visual comfort. The range is available in different levels of light transmission and solar control, with versions suitable for applications including curtain walls, structural glazing, large glazed facades, atria, and overhead glazing.
From a sustainability perspective, COOL-LITE® XTREME can help reduce operational energy demand by limiting unwanted solar gains and supporting thermal insulation, potentially reducing cooling requirements while retaining useful daylight. The range is covered by verified Environmental Product Declarations and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze. Selected XTREME products are also available on Saint-Gobain’s ORAÉ® low-carbon glass substrate, providing an option to combine reduced embodied carbon with the operational-energy benefits of high-performance solar-control glazing.
