The idea of Crease starts from the geometrical understanding of curvature merging into a plan. The expression of the concavity of the legs gradiently morphing into a flat surface represents the main future of the table. Like in a vault system the ribs highlight the curvature joining at the centre of the vault, at the same way the design for crease argues for a minimal structural system which becomes the ornament of the elegant design of the table.
The timber stretches across the perimeter lines as a minimal surface creating a fabric effect in between the legs profile and the table top.
