Dime Two is an evolution of the original work, here the far semi-circular blade of rosewood is fixed to the wall, and the remaining blades counter-lever from it, creating a floating semi-sphere of tactile wood seemingly spinning from the wall.
The rosewood veneer is slip-book-matched, creating a perfectly even pattern of wood, which further emphasizes the illusion of a revolving object. Once peeled back, a curved platform is revealed, which is gilded in silver leaf and offers a dressing table with drawers and cabinets that can be concealed or exhibited.
