Opened in 2025 following an extensive renovation, the boutique hotel occupies the historic premises of the former Strand Teatret cinema. The transformation carefully preserves the spirit of the century-old landmark while introducing a refined expression of contemporary Nordic craftsmanship.

Inspired by the neighboring Øregårdsparken, the interiors are characterized by a natural palette of soft cream tones, deep browns, and vibrant green accents. Materials such as wood, brass, leather, marble, and mohair create an environment that feels sophisticated, welcoming, and effortlessly relaxed. Throughout the hotel, every detail has been selected to balance elegance, comfort, and authenticity. 

This design language continues in the bathrooms, where AXOR products in Brushed Brass and Brushed Red Gold complement the carefully curated interiors. In the Hilliger Master Suite, black marble, a freestanding bathtub, and twin washbasins are paired with AXOR solutions that emphasize both functionality and craftsmanship. 

The bathing area combines the AXOR One thermostatic module, AXOR Starck handheld shower, and AXOR Citterio bath spout. At the washbasins, AXOR Citterio C faucets with textured handles add a tactile dimension, while the shower features AXOR Starck overhead and handheld showers paired with AXOR One controls and AXOR Drain.
