With its deep, warm, and detailed characteristics, Dimma by Madera, presents itself as a distinct alternative to the typical white-washed floor. The product further highlights the cool nature of European Oak.
Specifications
Dimma is a hardwood flooring option that is made from engineered European Oak. It comes in customizable widths that range from 5 inches to 8 and 5/8 inches, and with two thickness options of 5/8 inch or 3/4 inch. Dimma's versatility is ensured by its rustic, prime, or mixed-grade options, as well as features like T&G, end matching, and micro beveling. Additionally, custom distressing and patterns, such as herringbone and chevron, are available to choose from.
Applications
Dimma, a part of the Stockholm Collection, extends beyond flooring to include stair parts, transitions, grilles, vents, architectural panels, interior doors, and custom millwork. Its UV polyurethane finish ensures durability, while options like UV hard-wax oil cater to varied preferences.
Customization
Dimma offers a range of nested bundles that ensure a varied yet cohesive appearance upon installation. Stocked widths include 5 in, 7 in, 8 5/8 in, and 10 ¼ in, and are all engineered. Floors over 11.81 are offered in a 3-ply balanced core and are only available in select finishes.
The Stockholm Collection
The Stockholm Collection flooring usually comes in nested bundles of varying lengths. For a 2-10 ft floor, 50% of the lengths will be 10 ft, 35% will be between 4-8 ft, and 15% will be less than or equal to 4 ft. This length sorting feature is ideal for installing the flooring in a random running bond. Additionally, custom board length sorts of up to 15 ft are available.
