Add dabs of comfort and an incredibly tactile design. The Emke series are a set of organic shaped poufs with soft rounded edges. The base is made of concrete. The top is 100% FSC certified Cumaru wood. Beautifully curved at the ends. They are versatile, functional and poufs are easy accessories that adapt perfectly to any type of space.
Their not quite oval shape comes in the sizes 150x75cm and 60x38cm and with and without backrest. The backrest is bold, nearly sculptural with a strong presence.
The concrete's standard colours are grey, white, black and beige. But any other colour is optional and it is treated with an anti-graffiti coating.
The seats were designed for the City of Emmen (Netherlands) where they are unconventional pieces of street furniture at several of the city's public transport hubs.
