The iconic graphic geometry of Fields, now entirely redesigned with LED technology and a contemporary aesthetic language.
For Euroluce 2025, Foscarini presents an evolution of Fields, a modular wall lamp designed in 2007 and now adapted by Garcia Cumini for the use of LED technology. New proportions, reduced overhang, updated finishes and the introduction of two curved plaques, in a reinterpretation that keeps the strong graphic impact of the original design intact.
Based on essential geometry that creates a distinctive visual and graphic effect, the new version of Fields revises the original design, preserving its character while updating the product with more elegant proportions and a slimmer structure.
The passage to LED technology improves energy efficiency while also permitting the reduction of the extension from the wall, making the lamp ADA compliant, without altering the light intensity and the theatrical flair.
The diffused and reflected, warm and enveloping light enhances the three-dimensional nature of Fields, transforming it into a luminous décor element capable of personalizing spaces.
Available in three sizes (200, 120 or 60 cm in length) and new finishes, Fields can be utilized individually or in compositions, achieving exceptionally elegant results. The lamps can be installed horizontally or vertically, creating intriguing graphic patterns on walls or ceilings, for an effect of diffused brightness.
In the redesigning of the plates, now all in metal, two curved surfaces have been introduced: a decorative detail that improves the light emission. The assembly has been simplified, making installation more intuitive and efficient.
These innovations make Fields ideal not only for contract projects on a large scale, but also for domestic spaces, thanks to the reduced thickness and the possibility of choosing from different sizes, including more compact solutions.
The project keeps faith with its original inspiration: a panoramic, almost aerial view of the fields of La Mancha in Spain, an homage to the roots of Vicente Garcia. The lines remind us of the layout of farmland – hence the name – while the layering of the modules reflects the interlocking land patterns of the Spanish countryside.
With this new edition, Fields confirms its status as a project capable of lighting even large spaces, combining emotion, technology and decorative impact.
