At the Light+Building trade fair 2014, WE-EF will be presenting not only LED innovations and modifications for street and area lighting but also a wide range of LED solutions for architectural design. The focus of this product range is almost completely on LED technology and LED-compatible luminaire design.


WE-EF has added three new symmetric LED projectors for architectural lighting solutions. The FLD111 is a small square shaped compact 6W LED luminaire that measures 95 mm x 95 mm x 55 mm and has a nominal lumen output of up to 581 lm. Measuring 175 mm wide, 130 mm high and 75 mm deep, the FLD121 is a rectangular and compact 12 W LED projector that supplies a nominal lumen output of up to 1213 lm. The slightly larger FLD131 LED measures 195 mm x 150 mm x 85 mm and generates nominal lumen output of up to 2426 lm, with 24 W LED. All three luminaires are available with colour temperatures of 3000 K and 4000 K.


These compact luminaires are ideally suited for the illumination of facades, monuments and sculptures. The FLD projector range come equipped with high-efficiency LED lenses and feature a versatile choice of beam distributions: [B] wide for both of the larger projectors; [M] medium; [EE] very narrow; and [EES] very narrow, ‚sharp cut-off‘ led lens array for all three luminaires.


The FLD100 LED projector family meets the requirements of IP66 protection. Proven WE-EF quality concepts, such as a corrosion-resistant aluminium casting, the 5CE corrosion protection system, weather-resistant and durable sealing technology as well as effective thermal management for the LEDs, ensure a long service life.


The projectors can either be mounted on brackets or with the WE-EF RAIL66 mounting system. Precision lighting effects can be achieved with a wide variety of optical accessories such as a diffusing lenses, glare shield or snoot.
