Available as Steel48 Floor and Tri48 Floor.
Steel48 Floor brings the logic of the Sense System into the room.
Instead of mounting lighting to a wall or ceiling, the infrastructure stands freely in space. A slim vertical profile supplies power and carries the luminaires, creating a flexible lighting tool that can be positioned wherever light is needed.
The system was developed for museums, galleries and historic interiors where ceilings and walls are often unavailable, protected or simply the wrong place for lighting. Over time, Steel48 Floor became equally relevant for residential projects, exhibitions and public spaces.
Like the Wall48 and Ceiling48 Track Systems, Steel48 Floor separates infrastructure from luminaires. The vertical profile forms the foundation, while luminaires such as Fifty and Ninety-Five can be selected, positioned and exchanged according to the task.
An optional integrated wallwasher adds a second layer of light, illuminating walls and architectural surfaces alongside artworks and objects.
Steel48 Floor is available as a single vertical element or as Tri48 Floor, a three-sided configuration that expands the lighting possibilities while following the same principle.
The result is not a conventional floor lamp, but a movable piece of lighting infrastructure that brings the flexibility of the Sense System into spaces where tracks are not an option.
