The new Gira RDS flush-mounted radio just sits in the wall, like a light switch or a socket outlet. That avoids annoying cables and keeps work surfaces and counters free.
Its capacitive sensor field and the high-quality display for information and station-specific data make the intuitive operation especially easy. The loudspeaker has a completely new design concept to give the radio a pure, voluminous sound, and in excellent stereo quality as well when the optionally available Gira supplementary loudspeaker is connected. The loudspeakers can be installed directly next to the radio operating element or, when connected with a 2-wire cable, installed at a distance of up to 20 m. The radio automatically detects connected loudspeakers and switches automatically between stereo and mono mode.
Light and music at the press of a button
The functionality of the radio can be expanded with the integrated 230 V auxiliary input. If for example an automatic control switch or the bathroom lighting is connected to it, the radio is automatically switched on and off together with the light.
