Habana is a sculptural outdoor and indoor retreat that explores the changing relationship between privacy, openness and flexible space. Designed by Gensler for iSiMAR, the collection combines an architectural presence with a light, permeable structure inspired by Mediterranean simplicity and Caribbean warmth.

Defined by its softened trapezoidal silhouette and enveloping metal frame, Habana creates an intimate space without completely separating it from its surroundings. Light filters through the structure to produce shifting patterns of light and shadow, while the integrated daybed turns the piece into a sheltered setting for relaxation in hospitality, poolside and outdoor environments.

A key feature of Habana is its adaptability. Placed horizontally, the structure functions as a daybed or cabana; positioned vertically, the same architectural language becomes a freestanding divider that creates more private zones within offices, hospitality spaces and other shared interiors.

This dual functionality allows Habana to move beyond the conventional cabana, becoming a flexible spatial element that can support both relaxation and interaction.

The collection is available with different enclosure treatments, including fabric and perforated metal, allowing varying degrees of transparency, shade and privacy. The result is a distinctive piece that sits between furniture and micro-architecture: visually lightweight, spatially defining and adaptable to a wide range of environments.
