acoustic + design + functionality Hush Pads are eye - catching, sound absorbing panels that combine outstanding acoustic, design and functional features. Hush Pads panels can be mounted on the wall, hinged from the ceiling or used as freestanding design screens. Hush Pad’s core is made of specially formed polyester fibers. The outer layer is covered by thick 100 % pure vergin wool. Hush Pads panels are available in various shapes and sizes. Panels can be arranged next to each other to form a unique composition. A wide range of colours available makes any project possible.
Acoustic properties The inside of Hush Pads panels is made of polyester fibers with specific density. The density of the fibers was carefuly selected during acoustic tests and guarantees high sound absorption properties. Hush Pads panels were tested in an accredited acoustic laboratory. The tests were conducted in a reverberation chamber according to ISO 354:2005 and ISO 11654:1997 standards. Test results confirmed acoustic effectiveness of Hush Pads panels. The sound absorption coefficient αw = 0.85 indicates that 85% of all sound waves affecting the panels are absorped by each Hush Pad panel. High level of sound absorption prevents sound from echoing inside spaces. Hush Pads are a perfect solution for all spaces where echo effect and noise are problems. Low flammability Fire safety is a priority. Hush Pads are safe to use in any space. Panels were tested in an accredited laboratory to determin the flammability performance according to European standards. European classification EN 13501 serves as standard of evaluation for reaction to fire of building materials. Hush Pads were assigned class: „B”. Main fire class „B” indicates that Hush Pads panels pose a low flammability hazard and are therefore safe to use mounted on walls in all kinds of spaces.
Eco friendly The goal set at the designing stage of Hush Pads was to create an acoustic product that is 100% recyclable. Hush Pads can be recycled as whole thanks to safe and ecological materials. The inner layer is made of 100% recycled PET polyester fibers. The polyester is recycled from used plastic bottles. The outer layer is made of pure vergin wool and can be safely recycled. Hush Pads are produced without harmfull substances containing formaldehydes.
