Knuckles launches it’s new line, a response-invoking limited edition collection of mechanical industrial furniture - this collection takes 'industrial' to another level.
Tuesday, September 8, 2015 — Inspired by WW2 airplanes, the Rat Pack culture and all things mechanical, Matt Muldoon has developed a line of furniture that stands apart from your average industrial furniture- both in terms of the materials used (100% solid aluminum) and the aesthetic (the hole-punched look is a nod to aeroframes of days gone by). The entire furniture series is created with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel bolt connections. Every surface, edge, and fastener of this made-to-order collection is a testament to true craftsmanship, design, and quality.
The 60/61 series collection includes a solid aluminum bed, several tables, a desk, a wardrobe, a bookshelf, a stool, and hallway bench. You can view the collection at the link below.
Muldoon has an interesting story himself. Born and raised in small town Alberta, he has transformed his love of welding, metal, motorcycles and art into the amazing collections you see at Knuckles Industries.
All of Knuckles Industries' furniture is made in Vancouver, Canada.
Please let me know if you’d like to speak with Matt about the inspiration for this collection and his unique process. We’ve got a great selection of images on hand, should you wish to see a few options to accompany a potential story or post.
