Logamax plus GB192i now also available with combustion management system

Buderus expands its premium line by a self-calibrating gas condensing boiler in Titanium glass design with an output rating of 19 kW After several years of development, Buderus will launch a premium device with automatic combustion control in summer 2017. For the new gas condensing boiler Logamax plus GB192i-19 CMS (Combustion Management System), the system expert focused on stable, uninterrupted operation. This has been achieved by optimising the system components and expanding the software algorithms. The Logamax plus GB192i-19 CMS in Titanium glass design with an output rating of 19 kW determines the quality of the gas by measuring the ionisation current and automatically selects the ideal parameters for optimum combustion. It operates efficiently up to a modulation range of 1:10 and a low load under 2 kW.

The wall-mounted device can be easily commissioned by trade partners because manual selection of the gas type is no longer required thanks to the self-calibrating operation of the boiler. Buderus has not included any sensitive components and sensors in the new combustion management system which could make the system more susceptible to failure, reduce its service life and result in incomplete combustion of the fuel. Until now, Buderus has used a Venturi valve to facilitate the selection of the gas type for heating contractors. This robust and convenient method for selecting the gas type has become well established in the market. The proven products with Venturi valve will therefore continue to be included in Buderus’ product range.
