“Who hasn't, when close to the sea, picked up a stone and thrown it in a way that it bounces on the water surface? In Sweden that game is called “kasta macka," which oddly means to “throw a sandwich". The perfect “macka” is a stone that is thin with soft rounded edges and this became our inspiration for the Macka collection. Our aim was to create a chair that looked like it had been shaped by the ocean for thousands of years.”
