The Ortis vertical larch cladding system is a bespoke timber facade handcrafted by Ortis GmbH in Frohnleiten. It consists of open, pre-greyed vertical larch boards, produced by a local carpenter specifically for each project. The cladding includes areas of standard formwork and areas of wider-spaced ventilation formwork, allowing selected openings to be partially shaded while maintaining a consistent facade rhythm. All elements are made from regional larch and fabricated locally, rather than sourced from prefabricated commercial systems.
