Founded in the shipyards of 19th century London, Davey Lighting manufactures marine-inspired lighting with a distinctly industrial edge. Suspended from stainless steel wire and ceiling hook plates, Davey’s new Dockside and Shipyard pendants combine all-weather functionality and rugged good looks. Hand-made at Davey’s Birmingham metal works, the Shipyard features a spun copper or galvanised steel shade with brass spout, exposed cord and sturdy protective guard. Stripped back to the bare essentials, the Dock side features an aluminium casting with hook fitting in galvanised, painted black or putty finishes.All pendants feature either clear or frosted well glass, hand-blown at English Antique Glass, the Original BTC group’s Birmingham-based glass works. Bringing a rough and ready flavour to bath rooms, kitchens, patios and more, the new pendants are suitable for both in and outdoor use.
