The innovative cladding system R3D comprises three different profiles, three surfaces and two types of wood. The combination of different shapes and thicknesses of the boards create an interesting surface with a striking 3D effect. Depending on a rather random or systematic order of the profiles, they will add a vivid or rather calm, uniform character to the cladding. Therefore R3D allows for individually designed facades. Furthermore, the vertical cladding makes buildings appear higher than they actually are. The R3D profiles are made of Siberian larch and Nordic spruce. Those made of Siberian larch are available with an untreated surface or with a greying glaze that ensures facade greying is regular from day one. The profiles made of Nordic spruce are vacuum pressure impregnated in order to protect them from wood-destroying fungi and insects (class 3). The brown colour of the impregnation adds an attractive touch to the wood. All boards have uniform tongues and grooves and are easy to mount.
