IPee shapes the future of sanitary technology

As from 14th until 18th of March, IPee will be exhibiting in Frankfurt at ISH, the world’s largest leading trade fair for sanitary design and technology. Under the motto ‘Shaping the future of sanitary technology’, IPee nv will be presenting Resisens, a smart flushing system for urinals.

With Resisens, this Belgian company, developed an intelligent and sustainable solution that reduces high tech patented technology to pure simplicity. Resisens is invisible and therefore an added value in all circumstances where aesthetics matters. Full-automatic, free of maintenance and easy to install, Resisens is the best solution for both end user, architect and installer.

Jan Schoeters, Managing Director of IPee: “Resisens offers more possibilities than infra-red, but doesn’t position as a more expensive product. This means you can have more quality for less money.”

IPee is developing more high-tech solutions for the sanitary world, some of which the company will be presenting on ISH.

Resisens. The Product Resisens is a universal applicable solution for automatically flushing urinals. The intelligent sensor measures through plastic and ceramic surfaces when the urinal is used. Based on this data, the urinal will flush. When the urinal is clogged, the system will automatically shut down.

The Resisens flushing system is easy and quick to install. The sensor is secured to the back of the urinal with the supplied high-tack silicone. After placing the hoses for the water supply, and connecting the power supply with the extension cable, the system is operational. The urinal is attached to the wall and activated using the Smart Key. The system is ready for use; no further action is required. The system was specifically designed to be easily integrated into most existing models of urinals with a back inlet.

Resisens. Specifications. • Automatic flush actuation, based on urine detection • Automatic calibrating sensor system for detection urine flow over the ceramic or plastic surface of the urinal. • Vandal-proof; system is invisible to the user. • Adjustable flushing volumes using a provided key without dismantling the urinal from the wall. • Automatic: watersaving stadium mode. • Automatic: hygiene flush every 24h after the last usage. • Automatic shutdown of the system when the drain is clogged. • No false triggers of people not using the urinal.
