Straight Staircase at St George Hill - London

This residence in St Georges Hill private estate in Surrey underwent a complete transformation when it was refurbished recently. The overall grandeur was greatly enhanced with this bespoke feature staircase. Elite Metalcraft were hand picked to deliver the ground to first floor stairs and glass screen from ground floor through to first floor ceiling. Having seen our previous work the architects were keen to get our design input especially in the construction of the stainless steel carriage that had to be very carefully fabricated to avoid any surface welding. The first section was constructed in marble on a steel core and followed on in American Walnut bonded to the stainless steel carriage. The inlaid copper fabric laminated screen gave a feeling of Eastern opulence and mystique.
