Graypants and urbancase team up for WantedDesign 2015! We are pleased to announce our latest collaboration — Suite 400.
Inspired by the shared roof graypants and urbancase work under, Suite 400 represents the importance of place in our lives. A collaborative creative effort, the objective of Suite 400 is to design functional, well made objects for home, work, and recreation in a contemporary context.
Kompas, the first design of the series, is a domestically manufactured solid wood desk with three-way height adjustment and simple yet functional cord management. A unique structural stringer design allows the concealment of a standard power strip while emphasizing the desk’s elegant angles. Kompas is available in seated and standing heights in either walnut or ash with brass or blackened steel. Additionally, a series of functional add-on accessories is planned for release later in the year.
