"Tri" is a collapsible wooden shelf consisting of two ladder parts. Stainless steel round trays are used as shelves and can be loaded and arranged as desired. When installed “Tri” is triangular and can also be used optimally in small areas. Because of its triangular shape the rack can be used as a corner shelf or freestanding object in the room. The collapsible shelf is expandable. Several segments can be put next to each other in a circle or in a row, opened alternately in the front and back. The mobile object works for regular daily use or as a flexible intermediate solution. It’s easy to transport, set up and dismantle quickly and can be stowed to save space.
Visually, the interplay of the horizontal double and single bars and the use of the open spaces between the rungs/staves create a grid that gives structure and at the same time suggests transparency and openness from all sides.
