‘Turtle’, the first in a new range of chairs for Walter Knoll, is based on a unique construction process and continues the relationship between PearsonLloyd and the German manufacturer.
Turtle is a highly flexible design that can be used both in contract and domestic environments. The basis of the new design is a skin or outer shell that cups the upholstered form highlighting the exterior shape of the chair. In effect the profile of the two shells resonate against each other and produce a highly dynamic and innovative aesthetic.
