HISBALIT is the glass mosaic with the most perfect shape in the market. Our tesserae are flat and perfectly square on their corners. Besides, HISBALIT joints are the most reduced, leaving the most prominent role to the mosaics rather than joints. Because we use first-quality glass, HISBALIT glass mosaic does not have any stains, pores or defects on its surface.
HISBALIT’s tile color is totally unalterable in sun, rain or extreme heat or cold. It also withstands sudden temperature changes. It does not change its shape, texture or color.
The use of HISBALIT is advisable as tiling any type of surface. Swimming pools, facades and, of course, any type of indoor surface. Due to the characteristics of the glass it contains, it is a zero absorption product.
HISBALIT withstands any type of chemical product, even the most aggressive.

Fixing and grouting
The use of a specific adhesive mortar for zero absorption, mixed binder and deformable products is recommended. We advise the use of adhesive mortars that comply with the EN 12004 and EN 12002 C2TES1 standards.
We recommend a cementitious grout for fine joints, free of additive, flexible, water and stain resistant in compliance with the UNE-EN 13888 CG2W standard. All manufacturers of tile adhesives also provide a range of colored grouting.
The Hibalit HTK is a revolutionary fixing system that uses an exclusive thermopolymer additive bead to join all pieces of a mosaic tile. The result is a mosaic tile extremely resistant and ductile that adapts perfectly to surfaces, guarantees unmatched results over the long term and offers great savings in terms of time and money in both installation and repair.
Installation is very quick since tiles can be cut easily with a Stanley knife and can be stored outdoors. Combined with the right fixing and grouting materials, HTK is the only system that prevents tesserae from becoming detached over time, guaranteeing an inalterable result.

Colored grouting
The grouting, apart from its functional role in sealing the separation between tiles is also a fundamental part of the final look of the project. Want to enhance the geometric pattern of the tiles? Choose a color that contrasts with the mosaic tile to make each individual tile visually stand out. Looking for a continuous, integrated effect? Choose a color similar to the mosaic tiles so joints blend into a continuous surface.
Material supply
HISBALIT tiling is supplied in 13,12 x 13,12 inch or 12,60 x 12,60 inch tiles, depending on the chosen format, and pieces are joined by HT-K CONTINUOUS ADHESION: Tesserae have a silicone bead, forming a grid, gluing them together. The material is exposed after placement. It is the most resistant system, since it guarantees the pieces are all joined and an extra adherence to the surface via the grid shaped silicone bead. System recommended for all types of applications.
A commitment to environmental responsibility
Hisbalit uses an entirely clean and environmentally responsible production system, with minimal water consumption. Hisbalit’s kilns are electric, emitting no harmful gasses while the pigments used are entirely natural and mineral. The result is a product that is 100% recyclable and eco-friendly with a great deal of added-value.

ESPACIO HISBALIT – MODULOR “CASA DECOR 2014"
Designed by Zooco Estudio, the project pays tribute to the measurement system Modulor created by Le Corbusier with the same name in the 60s. The architect was also inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s theory of establishing a direct relation between the proportions of buildings and human-beings.Modular porticoes in the interior space are named and organized according to the daily routine of the user. The aesthetic is conformed by mirrored walls, wooden floors and glass mosaics on each portico which give to the space a happy, luminous and changing character. After a careful selection of mosaics of Hisbalit Stone collection, we associate different color tones with the uses of the space: sleep, work, leisure, bath and dressing.
Designed by INHABIT, this full renovation of a bakery in central Marbella, Spain. It is decorated with fine details with textured lines such as mosaic tiles, to reflect the fine craftsmanship of the bakers.
The project, by Simona Garufi Architects, was presented as part of the 2022 edition of Casa Decor, sponsored by the Vorwerk group and inspired by the shapes of the Thermomix robots, both from a visual and content point of view. In this kitchen of the future with a living area, a work area reduced to a minimum has been imagined. While the appliances work for you, you can rest comfortably in the living area, which is conceived as a unique architectural element that unites the rest with the dining area. The mosaic used on the walls simulates pixels, the carpentry “creates” the space and becomes furniture, the shiny porcelain floor with its stripes transports you to the surface of a planet and the lighting scenarios perfectly in line with the futuristic concept . A whole mixture of these simple materials that manage to create a unique and very original environment.
