Vertical Louvers
Vertical louvers give your home a modern look and are an elegant addition to patios and covered areas. They are always custom-made to your specifications.
Multifunctional application
You can use them to protect against sunlight, wind, rain, and even prying eyes. Vertical louvers are also used for architectural, and therefore aesthetic, reasons.
Vertical louvers are usually tiltable. When tilted, the slat rotates on their vertical axis. This allows you to easily control how much direct sunlight, and therefore heat, you allow in.
With cross-ventilation, you can even regulate air circulation with vertical louvers on a warm day. Depending on the wind direction, you can position the slats at the desired angle.
And if you want privacy, or maximum sun and wind protection, simply close them completely. The blades then close the rows, creating a wall.
You can also create beautiful partitions with them. Use them, for example, as a garden divider. With a wall of vertical louvers, you can easily divide your garden into playful outdoor rooms.
Vertical louvers are multifunctional, providing shelter from the sun and wind, and protecting your privacy. A versatile solution with great flexibility.
Plenty of choices
Sunshield offers vertical louvers in aluminium and wood. With aluminium louvers, you can choose between rectangular and elliptical louvers. Wooden louvers are generally rectangular.
Aluminium louvers are available in any desired colour. You can opt for powder coating in a RAL colour. Special colours and treatments such as fine grain and wood grain are also possible.
Instead of coating, you can also opt for anodizing. This utilizes the natural shine of aluminium and preserves the metallic look. Colour anodizing is also possible.
Wooden louvers are available with various treatments and in a wide range of colours. Wooden louvers are made of Western Red Cedar, Iroko, or thermo-treated Frake wood.
