YWW 50T Window Wall System

YKK AP's YWW 50T is a window wall glazing system designed for use in multi-story applications.  It includes an innovative slab edge cover that provides the beauty and appearance of a curtain wall application.  The glass plane is set to the front of the system to maximize its thermal performance.  The system has mullion options that allow glazing from the interior or the exterior.  Structural silicone glazing is also an option.  The thermal performance of the YWW 50T is enhanced by YKK AP's patented MegaTherm® thermal break technology.  A key component to the MegaTherm technology are 6/6 nylon polyamide glass fiber reinforced pressure extruded bars that join two separate extrusions into one thermally broken frame.  The MegaTherm® thermal break technology also provides the YWW 50T with a dual finish capability.  Additionally, a screw spline assembly design makes the fabrication and installation of the YWW 50T more efficient.
