Oscar, Ventura and Ana opened us their home in the neighborhood of Gracia sharing their dreams and their doubts with us. This was a great opportunity to explore and give response to the way this family wanted to organize its live in their new home.

The intervention was only in the common areas while kept the sleeping rooms’ original organization reducing investment and focusing in the areas where they were expected to be the most of the time. The strategy was to open the space from the entrance to the balcony to increase the length of the room perceived.

Organization was simple, keeping the toilette and the washing space in the inside (a patio) and the cooking space and the living, the closer to the exterior façade. The result is a widen – open space where kids have space to play and the common family life take place.
