A new 5 stars hotel in Bata: In keeping African values, the Hotel in Bata will be a reference of ethnic and authentic luxury

In 2013, Xavier Cartron was chosen by the Government of Equatorial Guinea to renovate a 5-star hotel on African Lands in Bata. When Xavier Cartron took over the project, the structure was already built and the initial project lacked coherence. The Cartron agency therefore had to redesign the entire building. The concept was to create a reference place in West Africa, reflecting the local identity associated with a standard of luxury hotels that is unprecedented in the region. Xavier Cartron, passionate about travel and Africa, imagines the architecture and interior design of the project, inspired by the lush and wild nature of Equatorial Guinea, in order to express its primary identity and what will become the leitmotiv of the Hotel: "Born Wild".
