To give the deserved and renewed importance to the work of Greta Magnusson Grossman the concept of the exhibition design is built upon the ideas: Grand Perspectives, to use the full space of the beautiful room at Arkitekturmuseet. The lay out is repetitive and symmetrical with a clear overview, straight paths and can also easily be rearranged for other spaces. Scale, four big photo frames were made to show her as an individual of great importance. They were made as a simplified and much larger version of old photo frames for desktop use. The photo frames are used for printing text, images and as screens for film clips. The 1:1 reconstruction of an interior of GMG is made as a traditional architectural wooden scale model but in full scale. The used material is birch plywood. Contrast, the work of GMG is made in a lot of different materials, colors, expressions, the objects are rather dark (like dark wood and stone). As a contrast, to make the work of Grossman more visible, we have worked consistent with one material and one color, white lacquered sheets of aluminum. Paper, the work that an architect does derives from the paper. The set design could be seen as an undrawn drawing. All the metal surfaces are treated as they were thin sheets of paper. The desk tops are proportioned from the sizes of the A4-system. The supporting structure to the table tops are made like paper card houses. The exhibition is made to travel and can easily be flat packed and reinstalled
