ALB-SWISS House explores the intersection of Albanian cultural identity and Swiss architectural precision through a contemporary single-family residence defined by clarity, permanence, and craftsmanship.
The project is organized as a composition of carefully proportioned volumes, where dark masonry, exposed concrete, mineral render, and expansive glazing establish a balanced dialogue between solidity and transparency. Rather than relying on formal complexity, the architecture emphasizes restraint, allowing proportion, natural light, and material expression to shape the character of the house.
The façade is articulated through a vertical rhythm of openings that frame views while introducing daylight deep into the interior. This relationship between light and mass continues throughout the residence, where interconnected living spaces unfold around visual continuity and direct connections to the surrounding landscape.
The interior extends the architectural language of the exterior through a carefully curated material palette of oak, natural stone, bronze, textured plaster, and linen. Contemporary living is complemented by a collection of vintage furniture, sculptural lighting, and contemporary art, creating interiors that balance refinement with everyday comfort.
