An old warehouse in the district ‘Eilandje’ of Antwerp becomes an 1200 sqm office space. The ‘stage’, conceived like a mini-auditorium is the heart of the building. The stage creates spaciousness through the office and enhances the internal relations between all different users in the building. The existing concrete structure is still visible in the new office space, the old beams and columns define the new areas together with new pivot panels which are constructed of wood with a white steel frame.
