Apartamento da Aguia

Eagle´s Apartment

Located on the 40th floor of one of Goiânia's tallest buildings, the Eagle Apartment stems from the desire to translate a life trajectory into architecture. Spanning 1,360 m², the penthouse was designed to reflect its owner's personality, habits, and achievements, establishing a relationship between spaciousness, functionality, and sophistication.

The project's name refers to the eagle, a symbol of vision, precision, and freedom—characteristics that connect to the resident's history. The choice of the property stemmed from a careful look at the space's possibilities. Even before the acquisition, the firm, which has accompanied the client for over a decade, analyzed the floor plan to evaluate its capacity to meet the needs of a new stage of life.

The architectural proposal is based on the understanding that a residence must respond, above all, to the way its residents live. In this sense, the spatial organization was crucial for the project's development. Unlike the conventional layout of duplex penthouses, the decision was made to invert the distribution of uses between the floors.

The lower floor concentrates the main living spaces and the master suite, measuring approximately 150 m², allowing daily activities to take place in an integrated and functional manner. The upper floor gathers the environments intended for more occasional use, such as the spa, gym, and guest suites. This strategy prioritizes the owner's routine, reduces displacement, and establishes a spatial hierarchy consistent with his needs.

Another significant aspect was the reconfiguration of the leisure area. The pool, originally planned to be 12 meters long, was expanded to 17 meters, bringing back a feature the resident valued in his previous home. This intervention required studies and coordination with the building's engineering from the initial stages, allowing the pool's new dimensions to be seamlessly integrated into the architectural proposal.

The project also considers the support staff that has accompanied the owner for many years. The staff quarters were planned with close attention to functionality, comfort, and the organization of activities, recognizing their importance for the daily operation of the residence.

The architectural language adopts a classic and timeless aesthetic, defined by balanced proportions, sober finishes, and a meticulous selection of furniture. Each choice seeks to establish continuity between the environments, enhancing elegance without compromising the resident's comfort and identity.

More than a large-scale penthouse, the Eagle Apartment represents architecture built upon a deep understanding of who will inhabit it. The result is a residence where scale, functionality, and identity converge, transforming the expansiveness of the spaces into a unique living experience deeply connected to its owner's trajectory and daily life.
