Arrifana House

Passive house concept Casa Arrifana in Aljezur Portugal.

In this bioclimatic on the Arrifana Coast (Algarve - Portugal) we have designed a mixed structure of steel, wood and concrete. The next frontier of luxury lies on a wooden floor opening to a large patio where silence is broken only by the gentle sound of the aqua flowing out of the water feature and the breeze tossing the leaves of the trees.

In an indoor space bathed in natural light and in a structure and furnishing built with sustainable materials, where the energy is provided by natural renewable sources and our footprints is light on the forest floor we walk.

In a passive solar building design windows, walls, and floors are made to collect, store, reflect, and distribute solar energy, in the form of heat in the winter and reject solar heat in the summer.
