Purchased while still in the planning stage, this apartment of just 30m² was bought by a young single woman who likes everything to be very organized.
To personalize the project, she requested the services of interior designer Fernanda Olinto.
The request was for a very cozy and relaxing apartment that met all of their requirements, such as a good kitchen space, home office and laundry room.
The initial plan also had a balcony area, which was integrated into the rest of the room. When choosing the layout, priority was given to keeping the kitchen's infrastructure points in the entrance hallway, and from there, the professional took the opportunity to continue the large wardrobe area and, at the back, highlighted by the wooden MDF, the hidden laundry room.

After the client chose to have the bed in the center of the room, serving as a sofa, the home office was naturally placed on the last remaining side wall. The circulation then occurs around the bed and the TV with more cabinets was placed in a less robust way in front.
The project has a contemporary style and was guided by the small footage, thinking about the maximum use of space, and by the bed/sofa, a preference of the client. The concept sought to explore Provençal notes such as the patina floor, and a very light air to suit the client's personality, hence the use of many colors in the most candy tones.
The lighting is all built-in so as not to add any extra weight to the space; lots of indirect light and little use of lampshades so as not to take up counter space. A floor lamp serves as a bedside light.

As for the flooring, the choice was a porcelain tile that imitates wood with patina to give the project a more rustic feel. Alongside it, there is the metalwork, including the bathroom door, and it is this and the black skirting board that break up and balance the softer choices of these candy colors present in shades of pink, blue and green – including in the bathroom. The more rustic reference in textures and colors guided the choice of cushions. To avoid overloading, the choice was for a light wood tone, but still warm. The rest of the woodwork and walls have a mix of whites and grays to keep the apartment looking as spacious and bright as possible.
According to the professional, the solution that stands out in the project is the hallway area, where the kitchen is located with the meeting between the white quartz and the carpentry; the colored door and the metalwork door that gives access to the bathroom.
