House 'barn in urban style" in Wroclaw is the traditional form of architecture in modern style. The interior, details, construction and materials are the expression of its modern character. On a small plot of land we designed a small house comfortable for a family with two children. The area of the building is less than 200m2 (including single garage). Interior space is organized on the ground floor and first floor, which naturally define day and night zone. Despite the small area we managed to design a spacious room, which are well lit by large windows and glass staircase, and also give a sense of space and comfort. With reference to the traditional form od building, to its finish we also used traditional materials. The facades will be finished in graphite matt brick, combined with contrasting light wood. Only the eastern wall without window is plastered on white. The wooden cladding is designed to finish details of elevation peak - both from the front and from the garden, the entrance area of the building and dormer window. On the facades there are designed wooden sliding louvers, which on the east side are a compositional element, while on the west give possibility to adjustment the light intensity in the interior. Graphite tile and brick keep monochromatic dark colors, which gives the heat light wood. The building traditional in form, in a light modern style.
