The objective was to transform a compact 52-square-meter Paris apartment into a multifunctional space serving simultaneously as a working studio, client meeting space, and immersive showroom for Lichelle Silvestry Interiors.
The main challenge was to reimagine every centimeter of the modest footprint to balance function with refinement. The space needed to feel at once personal and professional—welcoming for clients, inspiring for daily creative work, and flexible enough to showcase our design philosophy in action.

The materials used were: 
• Flooring: Dark oak parquet for warmth and contemporary character.
• Stone: French limestone with a black cabochon design, grounding the entry with timeless Parisian elegance.
• Millwork: Bespoke cabinetry in dark wood tones with dark bronze accents, maximizing storage while maintaining proportion and elegance.
• Textiles: Dedar silk curtains, a mohair daybed by Bisson Brunel, a bespoke sofa by Lichelle Silvestry upholstered in Pierre Frey, and a wool rug by Ferreira de Sá—layered for texture and comfort.
• Lighting: Layered solutions including Modular lighting for technical precision, decorative pieces from the Marché aux Puces, Porta Romana, and Visual Comfort—allowing the mood to shift seamlessly throughout the day.
• Kitchen: Modulnova with Taj Mahal quartzite countertop and backsplash for a balance of functionality and sophistication.

At the heart of the studio lies a matériauthèque, or materials library, where clients can interact with a curated selection of finishes. Marble, stone, wood, silks, velvets, and artisanal fabrics are displayed alongside custom furnishings, offering a tactile and immersive experience.

The result is a living case study in Paris apartment renovation—an intimate, layered space that functions as both sanctuary and showcase. Bazin reflects our belief that interior design should not only be seen but experienced: a home for our studio that continues to inspire us daily while demonstrating the refinement and timelessness we bring to every project.
