The project is located in Bebek which is the most popular, hip place in İstanbul. The historical building reflects characteristic details of modern architecture of 1960s. This apartment is 200 m2 with 1 livingroom, 1 terrace, 4 bedrooms, 1 open kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The living room has a perfect Bosphorus view.
Family of three is living here and we thought about all of their needs. We destroyed the apartment and completely renovated. The kitchen area was too big, so we took some place from the kitchen and added it to the living area. Bedroom was also so big that we can build a new bathroom in it.
We used solid wood parquets in living room. In living room we focused on solid wood book case which was designed by Cisimdesign. In dining area you can see dining table with ‘Calacatta’ marble surface. It is also one of ‘Cisimdesign’ products. Chairs are ‘Gubi' and all accessories are ‘Menu’.
We used ‘Calacatta’ marble for floor except living room and bedrooms. All of the doors and baseboards are compatible with floor. All interior details are also in harmony with historical building. Light gray cupboards, natural ‘Hay’ chairs and marble counter are the most remarkable parts of the kitchen. You can feel that the kitchen is also in harmony with the other living spaces at the house. All of the furnitures in kids room and master bedroom are designed by Cisimdesign special for this project. In these rooms you can see same materials and colors like the rest of the house. Solid wood, white lacquered wood and marble are coming to the forefont.
