Redefining how a law office is experienced

At Bech-Bruun, a diverse range of workspaces combine with a modern-yet-timeless aesthetic to form a modern law office that inspires to balance collaboration and concentration. Meanwhile, the client facilities offer truly spectacular settings for building new relations, while bustling social spaces at street level ground the company in its community.

By embracing an innovative workplace design, Bech-Bruun positions itself as a forward-thinking law firm which can attract next-gen legal talents now and in the future. Companies increasingly innovate to meet the needs of their employees, but the law industry has remained largely traditional.

To remain an attractive workplace, also for the next generation of lawyers, Bech-Bruun and PLH realised that we need to rethink the law office as a place that offers diverse spaces for its employees to focus, collaborate, and socialise.

Wish to be forward-thinking, but true to their roots
Bech-Bruun wanted its HQ to reflect a modern, forward-thinking law firm, while staying connected to its long history in the industry. The design concept is based on a contemporary and modern expression, while at the same time forming a bridge to the 145 years of Bech-Bruun’s history as a respected professional and strongly rooted law office.

The new BB universe offers a unique and innovative law environment full of beautiful materials and references to the surroundings. We’re really proud to have created this workplace in close collaboration with the client.

A workplace that reflects a modern law firm
The new Bech-Bruun universe caters to both individual work and collaboration with colleagues and guests. The design provides flexibility and functionality, and scattered functions throughout the building encourage spontaneous interactions between colleagues.

The interior design frames are an image of a dynamic and modern company aligned with contemporary trends. Colors and materials in the concept are inspired by the building’s architecture, Nordhavnen’s distinct red color palette and the open Øresund beyond. Design elements, such as colours, serve as subtle wayfinding elements aiding in navigating the circular office.

Aesthetically, the company identity is captured in a modern-yet-timeless style that also incorporates elements that reference the building’s circular shape and maritime surroundings. On the upper floors, client facilities offer an extraordinary experience with a view over Copenhagen.
