Centre Haselstauden Dornbirn

Two new buildings, which share a square shape but vary in height, complement the neighbouring church, technical school and elementary school to create a balanced new architectural ensemble. The precise placement of the new buildings develops distinctive, well-proportioned outdoor spaces which define a village square as the new centre of the district. The two square volumes help to create order in the heterogeneous environment. There are three reasons for the staggered positioning: creating views, giving each building a recognisable face, and ensuring easy access from Haselstauderstraße. Biassono Primary School

The project for the new primary school in Biassono reimagines the educational environment as an open and inclusive civic space, capable of fostering learning, social interaction, and community life. Conceived as more than a traditional school building, the proposal integrates educational spaces with public functions, creating a contemporary hub for both students and citizens. The architectural concept is organized around a clear and legible spatial structure, designed to encourage orientation, interaction, and flexibility. Educational areas are complemented by shared facilities, including a municipal library conceived as a place for reading, study, and collective participation, strengthening the relationship between the school and the wide... Indiranagar Primary School

The Challenge: A Legacy at Risk The project began with a brief for demolition of existing school building. A 30-year-old school building in Koyali, Vadodara, was in a dilapidated condition. With a sinking plinth, cracked flooring, and termite-infested doors and windows, lack of natural cross ventilation and heat retention, the four-classroom block was struggling to provide a conducive learning environment. Despite being the oldest structure on campus, distinguished by its characteristic sloping roof, it had become a dark, heat-trapped, and uninspiring environment for learning. Primary school

Primary school in 1 layer in wooden constructionBased on social and technical needs, many primary schools will be improved and replaced in the coming years. Many of those primary schools are single-storey and will remain so in the new construction option. From the vision of the B-group “Together. Building. Consciously.” we are closely involved in buildings with a social context. We also do this from a conscious vision where, in addition to a financially feasible building, we also build biobased, mainly in wood. My school, your distraction, our community

Wooden school building Often school buildings remain true to traditional architecture and construction methods. Nevertheless, wood construction offers many opportunities for the well-being of children and the sustainability of the environment. This school in Amsterdam therefore explores the potential of wood construction. This initiative involves the design and construction of a school, a kindergarten, and a clinic in a remote village in Madagascar called Antanandava. WIP Architetti ∆ῶρα comes to life through the contribution of Stefano Scaringella: a medical surgeon and Capuchin father who has dedicated more than 40 years to his humanitarian mission in this region. The Hwigyeong Maker Space

I create everything I imagine with my own hands. Makerspace Makerspace refers to a space where you can freely create and create models using various materials or digital technology-based machines. In other words, it is a creative activity space using digital technology and tools. “Next level” STEM Hub

5 years after the opening of the Young Innovators lab for students from 1st to 4th grade, the school’s team approached us to develop a STEM hub for the older students - 5th to 7th grade - as part of a strategic plan for renovation of the northern wing of the building. The space would be located on the second floor, consisting of two classrooms and two storage rooms. Doriyan Todorov The Next Level hub targets project-based learning in robotics, digital sciences and at the same time developing skills such as presentation, teamwork and communication. An essential space had to be planned for the teachers: a place where they could collaborate together to plan interdisciplinary classes, new ways to approach the traditional program and... More

CBV_BEVAGNA SCHOOL COMPLEX

The Sant'Anna School Pole creates a new centrality that, as a real reference point, constitutes an independent attractive core, in connection with the historic village through the enhancement a light mobility path that touches the main points of interest in Bevagna. The disused school buildings could be reinserted into the system, verified the possibility of securing them for temporary activities and installations, at least in the exterior and front parts. Working on the identity reference to traditional rural architecture, the complex is laid out on the slope, constituting an urban edge to the countryside and delimiting a large linear public space that gently settles, protecting access to the school. The street is envisioned as a rue escol... More

CSV_SAN VITTORE KINDERGARTEN AND PRIMARY SCHOOL

The municipality of San Vittore, already marked by the caesura of the Cantonale road that abruptly divides the historic village from the next conurbation to the south, suffers from the fraying created by residential expansion in recent years.  The project proposes the new school complex as a counterpoint identity element to the Pala Tower and works on the stitching together, redefining a centrality through the redevelopment of the public area in front of the cylindrical tower of St. Lucius Church, extending to the gymnasium and Basketball court. Caption Settled to the northeast of the intervention lot, the building defines a new square by placing itself in relation with the former Administration building (which is imagined redev... More
