Bodrum House

The landlord dreamed of a natural-looking design that contained the greens of a summer forest and the blue tones of the Mediterranean ocean, visualizing the four-season effect. In comparison with the original plan, the walls of the house transformed into a morebreath-taking structure including more greens, the floors were covered with open oak natural parquet and colored ceramics specially designed for the house. A comfortable living room, a functional kitchen, a cozy dining area combined with the kitchen, and a veranda designed as an extension of the lounge on the ground floor.

In the garden for many years, the trees have been protected and preserved to maintain the natural outlook of the space. A marble dining table specially designed for this project complements the natural stone wall of the garden.

The modular sofa, which was designed specifically for the space, creates a natural and fresh feeling with its linen texture, the TV unit and the bookcase with its solid wooden shelves, and the colored glass coffee table with organic shapes to complete the look. A red classic heater which was imported from Italy was added to the center of the space to make the room prepared for all seasons.

The white goods were imported in from an Italian brand called Restartand were brought in from Italy. By using blue and white colors of the Aegean, we bring its spirit into the space and resemble its feeling in the flavors prepared in the kitchen.

The custom-made display shelf in the dining area was specifically designed by Kontra to provide storage space.

The colorful wooden panels, which cut the walls halfway through each of the bedrooms, create a much more spacious feel by emphasizing the height of the ceiling. The windowsill and patina wooden ceiling details highlighted by the raw concrete texture stand out as architectural elements that give the project character.
