Bravo Academy

C& Partners Architects Inc as Architects

Bravo Academy is not only a learning facility, but also an inviting social environment for students, parents and teachers, regularly enjoying the art of performance. In a close collaboration with our client, we understood the requirements of a contemporary academy for the performing arts, and prepared flow diagrams, layout plans and advised on interior finishes. Moreover, we carefully juxtaposed the colour palette and materials to promote the branding and business model.

The flow of each user group was meticulously studied to optimize the experience of each visitor. We also zoned the classrooms, staff area and performance area so they can be efficiently connected while also being able to function seamlessly together. The durability of the interior finishes as well as the HVAC and Lighting systems were considered, exceeding the typical efficiency for a performance arts school. In that regard, our design team worked with an expert group of consultants and engineers to develop a lighting and curtain system that could optimize the experience and sound quality for various sizes of performances. The result, is a lasting home for the arts of performance—to be learnt and enjoyed.
