In consultation with the client, it was decided to have partly an open workspace and partly separate work areas. Diversity in the workplaces on the open work floor is provided by the use of call areas, concentration areas, health and safety workstations, sit/stand and workbenches, among others. There are meeting rooms in formal settings, a ‘living room’ for informal consultation and several individual meeting tables on the work floors in both sitting and standing height. The design opted for a powerful image around the ’traffic space’ and the use of central areas, keeping the workstations quiet.
