The task was to design a breathtaking interior in a mediocre layout, and with a good budget, it was not hard. The house is almost 5,000 SF with a lot of rooms with plenty uses, there were wide range of possibilities.
Each room was kept with a lot of care, deciding what was the best for wall and floors coverings, The furniture had to be minimalistic to avoid compete with the interior architecture, and the lighting design integrated to the environment. The outcome was a very balanced mixture.
A blend of high end European furniture and AXD Architecs own designs made expressly for this project turned out in a soft and cosy habitat, the lighting gave a smooth sensation to the rooms.
The home cinema was designed for both, an amazing experience with the high end sound and image definition and a intimate feeling of a residence cinema, all the walls and ceiling were made in spain according to the specs of the architect.
The bathrooms took a very special place in the design, and they were presented as an esculptural space, from the powder room to the master bathroom and the other ones.
