The CG House is located on the side of a hill, in the commune of Lo Barnechea, in Santiago de Chile.
The particular location of the house is due to the existence of a canal that has a construction restriction strip, so the resulting land suitable for building is a narrow strip of approximately five and a half meters in its most unfavorable part.
Due to this, the project is located parallel to the canal and constitutes an elongated volume where the living room, dining room, kitchen and services are projected on the first floor. On the second floor are the bedrooms, children's living room and bathrooms.
The lightness of the metal and brick structure with floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor contrasts with the volume of the second floor, which with its metallic and black coating seems to be superimposed, taking advantage of the view and natural light of the environment.
