Casa del Lienzo is an apartment located in the most classic expansion area in Valencia, Spain. The starting point to design this house was to bringnatural light into its interior, gradually and controlled depending on what each room was required and creating, in a natural way, shadows, reflections or transparencies where appreciate some active or public areas, to other intimate ones. Only some necessary walls to delimit each room were preserved.

The materiality and colors used are sober, elegant, with nuances of textures and subtle variation of tones, where art, selected pieces of furniture and natural stone break this harmony to compose the personality of the house.

The architectural details of this interior design project have been worked to give a simple and clean image with hints classic. The lines draw baseboards and frames with minimalist moldings, practically drawn on the walls and in the millwork, which was designed to give the character required.

The lighting is very specific and focused on each area, so that the sensation is warm and comfortable. The color range is a reflection of those colors that evoke calm and sophistication. The collaboration of EstudioEn•Hebra team with artists from different branches of design has been essential to enhance the scenography and respond to the admiration of the client for Art and History.

Textured plaster walls face timeless stained glass windows with simple-shaped moldings that bring in light, drawing traces of shadow on the pavement. The traditional herringbone flooring is made of walnut wood, as the millwork used to create closets, bookcases and gazebos to use as a reading area, seating or to frame the spotlight.

This project is also a reflection of the personality of the client: sober, clean, advanced in soul and classic in form.
