The Elias Garcia House project starts from the premise of allowing the space to grow with the family. It is thus characterized by being a small apartment for the number of rooms needed, so the first and most complex exercise was to replace the walls with storage so that the house would be first and foremost practical.
The flexibility required from space also made it possible for the old dark, closed, and labyrinthine rooms to give way to a lighter environment, where the light streams through and where everything communicates.
Its identity remains, present in the plank floor or in the lines that define the kitchen chimney, but is now attached to the new printed language that allows it to transform while preserving the memory.
A house full of detail, where all the designed details ended up materializing, giving meaning to the space as a whole.
